Jennifer M. Cornelius, Esq.
A graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law, Ms. Cornelius is licensed in both New Jersey and New York.
Following graduation she landed a coveted judicial clerkship with the Honorable Maureen P. Sogluizzo, J.S.C. (now retired) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, since which she has been in private practice where she worked at boutique family law firms in Bergen, Hudson and Morris counties prior to starting her own practice.
Ms. Cornelius volunteers her time as a Matrimonial ESP Panelist in Hudson, Bergen, Morris, Essex, Sussex counties to to assist the Court in resolving cases.

Jennifer is named on the Superior Court's Roster of R.1-40 Family Law Mediators. She is also on the Court’s approved list of Parenting Coordinators through which she is appointed to assist families resolve disputes without litigation.

Ms. Cornelius has been appointed by Judges for years in other roles, as well, serving as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) representing children in Family Law disputes, as Court appointed counsel for individuals named in Guardianship proceedings, and in other roles act on behalf of those unable to protect themselves.

Ms. Cornelius is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Morris County Bar, where she serves as a Trustee of the Bar Foundation.
​
She enjoys giving back to her community through local non-profit and charitable organizations, particularly those related to children involved in housing and food insecurity: Homeless Solutions, Nourish NJ, Table of Hope and the Inter-faith Food Pantry.
